What you get, what you pay, when you can cancel, and what coaching is and is not.
Between Weeks, Lda, tax number (NIPC) 517811650, registered at Rua da Torre Alta, lote 88, 8600-550 Lagos, Portugal, trading as Concrete Surfers. Contact: info@concrete-surfers.com, +351 923 394 415.
They apply to everything booked through this site or agreed by email or WhatsApp: the Snapshot, the Diagnostic, single sessions, The Concrete Program, surfskate classes, retreats, coach certification and workshops. Booking any of them means you accept these terms.
Prices are in euros and include VAT at 23%.
Payment is by bank transfer. Account details come with your booking confirmation, and a place is held once the transfer arrives.
As a consumer in the EU you have 14 days to withdraw from a contract made at a distance, without giving a reason. Tell us by email within that time and you get your money back.
One exception matters here. If you ask us to start the service inside those 14 days and confirm you understand you lose the right to withdraw once it is fully performed, then once it is done you cannot withdraw. In practice: if you send footage and we deliver the written report inside the 14 days at your request, that service is complete. If we have started but not finished, you pay for the part delivered.
This does not apply to the Snapshot, which costs nothing.
Retreats are booked by application and confirmed in writing. Because a place is held for you and beds and coaches are committed in advance, these terms apply instead of the 14-day rule above.
Travel insurance is required. Your policy must cover trip cancellation, medical treatment abroad, and surfing as an activity. We may ask to see it before the week starts. Travel to and from the retreat is not included unless your confirmation says otherwise.
We are surf, surfskate and strength coaches. Vasco Rodrigues is a sport scientist and physiologist. None of this is medical advice, physiotherapy, or treatment for an injury or condition. If something hurts, see a doctor or a physiotherapist first, and tell us what they said before we build you a programme.
You confirm that you are fit to take part and that you have told us about any injury, illness or condition that could matter. Surfing and surfskating carry real risk of injury, including serious injury. You take part at your own risk and are responsible for wearing the protection we ask you to wear.
Coaching improves your chances. It does not guarantee a result, a level, or that any particular manoeuvre will be yours by a given date.
Where a participant is under 18, a parent or legal guardian makes the booking, accepts these terms on their behalf, and confirms they are fit to take part.
Footage you send stays yours. By sending it you give us permission to use it to carry out the analysis. We will not publish it or use it in marketing without separate written permission from you.
The written reports, programmes, drills and course materials we produce stay ours. They are for your own use. Please do not republish, resell or pass them on to other coaches.
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Beyond that, our liability for any claim connected to a service is limited to the amount you paid for that service.
Write to info@concrete-surfers.com and we will reply within one working day. As a business serving consumers in Portugal we also keep the electronic complaints book: livroreclamacoes.pt.
Portuguese law applies. If you are a consumer resident in another EU country, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of that country.
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your booking is the one published when you booked.
